We Bring The Training ToYou

Our specially designed training trailer allows for safe simulation of grain entrapment scenarios and rescue operations. The simulation area of the trailer is set up to mimic an OSHA compliant work place. It is equipped with 2 – 60 inch flat screen tvs which allow personnel who are not participating in the scenario to watch the exercise as it takes place.

On-site training allow us identify challenges that are unique to your specific operation. We can then teach in a manner that is more relevant to the your every day working conditions. Training that is more relevant translates into safer work practices by your employees.

Does your company stores grain or other flowing materials?

Ask yourself these questions.

t

Do our employees work safely and in complinace with OSHA regulations?

Deaths due to grain bin entrapments needlessly occur every year.  When employees are properly trained and work in compliance with OSHA standards the chance of entrapment is dramatically reduced.

Having everyone go home safe at the end of the work day is priceless.  Proper training and safe work practices are vital in making this happen.

s

Is your local Fire Department trained and equipped to respond in the event of an entrapment?

Many grain handling facilities wrongly assume that local fire departments are trained to execute a rescue in the event of an entrapment.  Grain bin entrapment rescues requires specialized equipment and training in confined space entry, rope rescue, and use of a ResQue Tube.

Many firefighters do not have the training or equipment required to make a safe, effective rescue.  That is why many of the facilities we train invite their local firefighters to participate in training with them.

How long would it take for properly equipped, trained responders
to get to our facility?

With entrapments every second lost reduces the chance of rescuing the person while still alive.  When on-site personnel are able to respond immediately and work in conjunction with outside rescuers they become a force multiplier.  This is a huge advantage when performing technical rescue operations.

Having your on-site personnel trained and equipped to perform a rescue can dramatically increase the odds of a favorable outcome in the event of entrapment.
